To All Certificate Holders

Agrément South Africa (ASA) requires all certificate holders to submit information on projects using their certified products and systems, along with monthly statistics on job creation. Compliance with this requirement is essential.

The requirement for information on projects is stated in Part 1: Conditions of Certification on the ASA certificate.

 “The certificate holder is required to participate in Agrément South Africa’s post-certification quality management system, which requires the certificate holder at any time of commencement of each contract to provide Agrément South Africa with construction sites or structures on which the subject is to be used.”

Projects submitted may include new, completed and in-progress projects.

Job creation statistics are required to assess and report on the socio-economic contribution of Innovative Building Technologies (IBTs) in South Africa. Employment figures may include jobs created:

• On projects completed
• In the manufacturing facilities (factory)
• In the office or
• Any other activities related to the certified product/system
